150 schools join the Don't Stop The Music Instrument Amnesty
This July, the Don't Stop The Music team sent out a request for UK schools in desperate need of instruments – and they responded via the registermyschool.co.uk site in their hundreds!
The 150 schools finally selected to receive instruments through the amnesty are located all around the UK, from North to South, East to West, Scotland to England, Wales to Ireland.
Each school demonstrated a real need for the instruments – and showed that they have the staff, facilities and passion to make excellent use of them. Find your nearest school now.
Next step: getting enough instruments so these schools can fill their music cupboards and get their pupils making music!
The Don't Stop The Music Instrument Amnesty launches on Monday 8th September and runs until Friday 17th October 2014.
